Gordon can be over the top but he plays it up for his US programs whereas he’s more calm (this is relative, I feel this needs to be emphasized) in his UK programs. US is more of a shouty, angry fellow whereas UK is a more refined anger (that doesn’t make sense but I’m sticking with it) , plus the use of excellent UK profanities like wanker and twat which don’t work well with American or Canadian accents.
Anyway, I generally enjoy Hot Ones and this is my new favourite episode.
You also get a bonus lesson on making scrambled eggs at the end (I sure as fuck don’t make them like that) .

As far as celebrity Chefs go, I love the Rachael Ray and Guy Fierri episodes

Both of them were fun guests as well, but I also enjoyed the Alton Brown episode and the fact that he gave his take on the sauces. It’s too bad Gordon only did that for one of them.

I don’t consider his “scrambled eggs” to be scrambled eggs. that’s more of an egg-based sauce for toast.
